CROWS - Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station:
Allows the gunner to operate the turret from the safety of the HMMWV's interior. A custom control panel with LCD tv and joystick,
enables 360 degree horizontal rotation and -20 + +60 degree vertical rotation of the turret.

RELEASE NOTES:
This is a Beta release of my CROWS weapon system. The texture work is kind of 3rd rate at the moment and I am looking to
try improve on this and will add the following elements in the next release:
A: Ammo belt skinnedMesh Geometry with bones to allow it to flex with the turret rotation
B: Improve on the system to add and immitate/fake the real-life Laser rangefinder, automatic turret adjustment etc.
C: Add another varient with an MK-19 automatic grenade launcher.
D: Night Vision for NightMaps.
As far as I can tell, i think it should be ready to go network wise, although I havent had the oppertunity to test it with other
players. Bots will use the system with no problems, and will target and track in pretty much exactly the same way as they
did in the open turret, the benefit being they cannot be picked off so easily.
Gameplay wise, yes this does unbalance things a little, however, its something different to play with and its fun lol. The
gunner is still vunerable through the rear passenger window, so a good shot (or spray) or a grenade through the window will
still work.
Anybody wishing to include the Crows system in their own MOD release that fine, all i ask is for a credit somwehere as
to me having made it. If you do wish to include this and you would like to do a better job of the UV's and texturing,
I am quite happy to pass on the MAX files for you to work with.
Also, If other weapon systems are prefered, the setup means its simple to just remove the 50.cal and switch it to
(for example)
M-240B medium machine gun,
MK-19 automatic grenade launcher
or M-249 squad automatic weapon.

INSTALL NOTES: Vanilla BF2 OR Vanilla Content Mod (ie. no additional content added allready)
1: Copy the HMMWV_CROWS folder into your BF2 Mod directory (ie. EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/YourMod/
The file structure should look like this when your done:
EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/Your_Mod/HMMWV_CROWS/Menu_Client.zip
EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/Your_Mod/HMMWV_CROWS/Menu_Server.zip
EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/Your_Mod/HMMWV_CROWS/Objects_Client.zip
EA GAMES/Battlefield 2/mods/Your_Mod/HMMWV_CROWS/Objects_Server.zip
2: Copy the ClientArchives.con and ServerArchives.con and paste over the original ones (back up the originals first to be safe)

2: Add the following lines to the BOTTOM of these files:
Open ClientArchives.con and add:

Open ServerArchives.con and add:
fileManager.mountArchive HMMWV_CROWS/Objects_server.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive HMMWV_CROWS/Menu_server.zip Menu

The following step is neccessary to make the custom Crows HUD load regardless of which install method you followed.
1: Look in your ServerArchives.con to see which Menu_Server.zip is loaded first in the list. So for example it might be,
fileManager.mountArchive Objects_server.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive Menu_server.zip Menu
fileManager.mountArchive Common_server.zip Common
fileManager.mountArchive mods/bf2/Objects_server.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive mods/bf2/Menu_server.zip Menu
fileManager.mountArchive mods/bf2/Common_server.zip Common
Here you can see the first one to load is the mods own Menu_Server.zip. In this case, you will need to do the following:
1: Open up that particular Menu_Server.zip and navigate to HUD\HudSetup\Vehicles\ and open the file HudSetupVehicles.con
Add the following line to the bottom of it
run HudElementsCrows.con
Now save it and let it update the zip file.
If you don't have the HudSetupVehicles.con file in the Menu_Server.zip create the folderpath i listen above and copy the file
HudSetupVehicles.con from HMMWV_CROWS/Menu_server.zip into it.
So your folderpath should look like the following: HUD\HudSetup\Vehicles\HudSetupVehicles.con
Now add this into the menu_server.zip file.
