PoE 0.4.2 released!
Wie erwartet hat das Point of Existence (PoE) Team in der vergangenen Nacht mit 0.4.2 eine neue Version veröffentlicht, die wahrscheinlich gleichzeitig die letzte auf Basis der Vietnam-Engine ist. Es ist nur noch mit einem Patch zu rechnen, der Bugs behebt. Danach werden die Arbeiten für BF2 beginnen. Und somit ist diese freudige Meldung gleichzeitig auch eine der letzten in der Rubrik BFV Mods. Also: Goodbye Vietnam, hello BF2!
Neben den bereits angekündigten Fahrzeugen und Maps enthält der aktuelle Release auch einen Blutpatch und etliche andere neue Features. Die in den News zu den letzten vier Viedos angesprochenen neuen Effekte, sind ebenfalls im Changelog enthalten. Wir haben den Clientpatch bereits gesaugt und werden nun einen ersten Testlauf spielen.
Der aktuelle Release beinhaltet einen 1,45 Gig schweren Full-Client, einen 390MB großen Patch für die aktuelle Version 0.3.2 und zwei Serverpatches, ebenfalls für die Version 0.3.2. Es wurden bisher keine neuen Full-Server veröffentlicht! Wer mit dem Gedanken spielt, einen PoE-Server aufzusetzen, muss also vorerst das 0.3 Serverfile und die beiden Patches auf 0.3.2 und 0.4.2 aufspielen.

der ordner kann nie voll genug werden, nur die festplatte macht es dann irgendwann nicht mehr mit...
dann einfach auf der platte platz schaffen damit POE gezockt installiert werden kann
