Battlefield Conversion Team: News
We have decided to do a staggered release of the theatres. The first maps out the door will be the rest of the Pacific Theatre. From there we are going to finish up the African Theater. Our goal at the moment is to finish them both by the end of the month. Then it will be off to QA at EA. Given the timing of the BF2 release, I expect this may take a while. I know you are anxious to get the mod. Hang in there. It will be worth it.
In more news, we have a great group of Beta testers working hard on finding problems with the mod. I just installed a Bug Tracking system. I hope this will help us streamline our bug tracking procedures and not only keep better track of problems, but make sure they have been fixed before sending them to Quality Assurance at EA. The more we find ourselves, the faster we can get it back from QA.
As you know, we have been trying to get a 3D modeler for some time. I just got word that Fast_n_Painless has time to help out again. Many of you may not know him, but he was responsible for getting the tree's into BFV. That may not sound like much, but it was probably the most difficult part of the mod because the tree technology between BF42 and BFV was completely different. Welcome back to the team Fast_n_Painless.
