WarFront Update: 7TP Tank

Heute zeigt das WarFront - Team ihren neuesten polnischen Panzer, den 7TP. Er ist mit einem stärkeren Dieselmotor und mehr Panzerung als seine Vorgänger ausgestattet - nähere Infos gibt's wie imer im original Newstext: The 7TP tank was a Polish developement of the Vickers Mk.E tank licence. The main new features of the 7TP were a better diesel engine and thicker armor, and a new armament consisting of a 37mm wz.37 Bofors L/45 gun and a 7.92mm wz.30 TMG . By 1939, 132 7TP's had been produced. Of those, 24 were the twin turret version, armed with two 7.92mm wz.30 TMG's. Both versions held a crew of 3, and could travel at 37kph (23mph).

Twin and single turret variants had no specific designations. In some Western publications they are designated with: "dw." and "jw." - they are abbreviations of the Polish words: "dwuwieżowy" = twin-turreted and "jednowieżowy" = single-turreted. These abbreviations are not used in any Polish sources.
