Galactic Conquest - Bilder und Infos

While we are still in the process of wrapping up coding and balancing on version 0.4, we wanted to let everyone know some of the things they can expect.

0.4 will feature a strong new focus on ground combat, and will include 7 new vehicles. The most obvious of these new vehicles, is the T-3B rebel assault tank. Heavy and well armed, this behemoth brings strength to the formerly weak rebel ground game. The empire is employing a new ground craft of it?s own, the Firehawke, and both sides are now bringing out the big guns? Artillery units.

Artillery is a first for GC, and we?re taking the time to make sure they are quite effective at delivering destruction to out-of-sight targets. We are also spending a lot of time in 0.4 cleaning up code and art from the previous releases. Judicator is getting an overhaul that will greatly effect it?s balance. The damage tables have seen the inclusion of several new armor and weapons types, and a fine tune of all the numbers to deal with the new ground game.

0.4 will also include the winners of the public mapping contest! We greatly apologize for the delay in the contest results, as we wrap up work on the build. We?ll be announcing the winners soon. There are also a few secrets in the 0.4 build, which will be our second largest update ever. A full featured list of changes will be made available just prior to the release. Enjoy the new images!
