WDW Update: MiG-25P, T-55 & LRPV
In einem weiteren Update zeigt die Who Dares Wins - Mod neue Vehikel auf der Map Western Desert, welche Schauplatz der "Operation Iraqi Freedom" ist. Hier trifft das "Australian Special Air Service Regiment" auf die "Iraqi regulars" - doch nun zu den Flug- und Fahrzeugen:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25P Foxbat: Die MiG-25 ist das während dieser Operation meist verbreitete Flugzeug. Auch InGame spürt man die Geschwindigkeit von 2.8 Mach und die extreme Wendigkeit.
T-55:
Hier wird der bereits bekannte T-55 im Wüstenlook eingesetzt. Für gute Spielbalance besitzen die Australier die F/A-18 Hornet.
Long Range Patrol Vehicle:
Das Australische LRPV entspricht im Wesentlichen einem Land Rover mit 6 Rädern. Er kann bei zu 4 Personen befördern und ist mit einer M2 Browning .50cal machine gun sowie einer M240 7.62mm MG bewaffnet.
Außerdem sucht Who Dares Wins immer noch Hoster für eigene Server bzw. Administratoren, die das nächste WDW Release auf ihrem Server installieren würden!

Here are some pics of some more vehicles, this time on the map Western Desert. Western Desert takes place during Operation Iraqi Freedom and pits the Australian Special Air Service Regiment against Iraqi regulars.
Let it be noted that Tora Bora and Western Desert are the most vehicle-intensive maps, and even then they focus on light vehicles like trucks, landrovers, motorcycles and humvees. But that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with a few heavy hitterswink
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25P Foxbat The MiG-25 was one of Iraq's most capable fighters. They still had large numbers intact at the time of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The MiG-25 interceptor version is capable of Mach 2.8 speed, and its speed, phenomenal climb rate and lack of maneuverability are reflected ingame.
T-55 T-55 with a desert paint job. Australians will get F/A-18 Hornet to balance out against this.
Long Range Patrol Vehicle The LRPV is the signature vehicle of the Australian special forces. It is basically a 6-wheeled Land Rover. In WDW the LRPV carries ammunition for troops and is armed with a M2 Browning .50cal machine gun and a M240 7.62mm MG. It can also carry 4 passengers (2 manning the MGs).
